There’s also a substantial grid made of fibreglass, securely attached with adhesives and held in place by the keel bolts of the boat.
The cabin house moulding and the deck of the Bavaria 36 are cored with the Airex foam and was incorporated with a partial grid structure in order to stiffen the cabin top. There’s also a durable aluminium toe rail that comes with cutouts for chocks near the boat’s heavy-duty mooring cleats.

The Bavaria 36 is no doubt, one of the most comfortable yachts among the Bavaria Cruiser line. It has ample headroom at the saloon measuring 6 feet and 3 inches, which is pretty impressive for a 36 footer yacht.
There’s more than enough light at the saloon and this is because of the various overhead portlights and hatches. Several different trims and sole veneers are also available, which includes walnut, oak and mahogany. The yacht’s L-shape galley is fitted with sinks at the centreline. These can also be transformed into a counter with a pair of covers.
The berth at the forward cabin of the boat is a bit narrow and can comfortably accommodate a 6-footer guest. Moreover, the aft doubles are 6 feet and 8 inch long and a perfect place to comfortably stretch out as it also has ample amount of ventilation. Hull ports provide more illumination in all of the boat’s cabins.

Despite the fact that the Bavaria 36 has a substantial beam, the boat has an impressive sailing performance. It’s equipped with the Volvo MD 2030, 29 horsepower sail drive, which is a slick power unit mounted vertically near the centre part of the boat. Unlike the traditional diesel, it doesn’t have those long shaft and stuffing bearings.
