That being said, the rise in popularity of yachting in Europe is a testament to the fact that this is absolutely the best way to explore the continent so we really should not compare an adventure on the ocean to the limited nature of road travel.

As mentioned above, there are many islands in which to stay, and this is arguably what sets Croatia apart from most of its counterparts. Take the island of Brac for example, where tourists flock to sample the rich culture and sights around the island. You could stay here for a few days and still only scratch the surface, but there are also more than one thousand islands in the region to uncover such as the equally popular Hvar. It may be a little expensive for some tourists, but Hvar is another island which is extremely popular to visit on a yacht. Featuring a variety of rather expensive accommodation and many cultural experiences as well as places to eat, this island is particularly popular with celebrities and the wealthy alike but to cruise the waters surrounding this landmass is free, making it a worthwhile stop while sailing in Croatia.

Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, and Zadar; these are all world famous travel destinations to begin an adventure and places where chartering a yacht in Croatia is easy. Yes, when you consider the variety on offer and the excellence of Bavaria, you have found a match made in heaven, and a holiday you will never forget.

    • That all depends on where you intend to charter. If you would like to charter a yacht within Europe, the answer would be yes. It is important to remember that the correct licencing and/or documentation for your charter is your responsibility and we would strongly advise you to enquire into the legal prerequisites of your chosen charter region, taking care to note any differences if you are to cross maritime boarders.
