Indeed, the Oceanis 45 is a truly beautiful boat. As with any of the boats in the Beneteau line, it makes a good first impression and is known for a sleek profile and plumb bow, which is a signature Beneteau feature. However, the Oceanis 45 is equipped with a more accessible cockpit to the rear. In this sense, the boat provides easy and short-hand access from the helm while the high mainsail sheet ensures safe and unhindered movement. Furthermore, with just the push of a button, the aft bench is transformed into a playground, creating a clean flow from the companionway all the way to the aft and into the sea.

Beneteau is renowned for an alluring design and construction with the hull made of solid fibreglass and the deck cored with end-grain balsa. However, one of the most noticeable features among the Oceanis models is the hard chine hull. With a flat bottom and deep spade rudder, not to mention a keel which is available in a shoal or deep version, the Oceanis 45 was clearly built to sail fast.

The standard layout of accommodation on the Oceanis 45 consists of two cabins and two heads. It has a stateroom at the bow, which also features a centerline queen and has a head as well as a separate shower. A small locker is nestled between the settee and a galley, ideal for wine storage. And then there is the forward white salon and headliner of the Oceanis 45 which provides a bright and airy atmosphere. Naturally, this is a beautiful contrast to the wood fittings which are made from the finest Alpi wood.

All considered, this unique design gives off a modern European vibe with clean lines, but at the same time, the Oceanis 45 is certainly not overly angular or futuristic in appearance.

Manageable and Powerful

Like most of the recent Beneteau boats, the Oceanis 45 is fitted with a standard 54-hp Yanmar diesel that features a Sail Drive. For those who want to charter the boat without skipper, you can rest assured that the Sail Drive and stern thrusters of the Oceanis 45 are easily managed.

In fact, chartering the Beneteau Oceanis 45 is one of the most convenient options for sailing in Croatia. It has a spacious feel, primarily attributed to the hard chine hull, which leads to a more excellent beam and increased space at the deck and underneath. In short, the yacht is a highly reliable and comfortable vessel to enjoy a yachting experience in Croatia.
